Mads Laustsen - Chief Executive Officer
Mads Laustsen is one of the founders of CMC and serves as the company’s CEO reporting to the Board of Directors. Prior to establishing CMC he worked 16 years with development and manufacturing of bulk enzymes and biopharmaceuticals at Novo, Zymogenetics and Novozymes. Laustsen has served as a member of Advisory Boards, has been active in development of new process technologies, and holds numerous patents within the field.
Christian Henrik Tange - Chief Financial Officer
Christian Tange has been with CMC Biologics since 2003 and reports to the CEO. He has overall responsibilities for financial management in the CMC Group’s holding company and subsidiaries. Prior to joining CMC, Christian worked with a number of startup and growth companies in pharmaceutical and other industries. He has 15 years experience with establishing and managing international financial functions. He holds a M.Sc. in Law and Business Administration from the Copenhagen Business School.
Gustavo Mahler, Ph.D. - President, US Operations
Gustavo Mahler joined CMC ICOS in 2008 as President of the company reporting to the CEO and Board of Directors. He is responsible for the operation of CMC ICOS Biologics Inc and has P/L responsibilities to the Board. Prior to joining CMC ICOS, Dr. Mahler worked at Bayer in Argentina, Germany and the USA for 14 years in different manufacturing and general management positions. Dr. Mahler received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry of the University of Buenos Aires, his Master degree in Business in the University UNED of Madrid and an Executive Certification on Management from the MIT Sloan.
